Unifying TheBrain: Version 15 Now Live on the Web
TheBrain 15 is now available in the web client, representing a significant milestone in our long-term effort to unify TheBrain experience across platforms. What began as an ambitious vision is now reality: a single, cohesive codebase powering both desktop and web.

With this release, the features you’ve come to rely on in the TheBrain 15 desktop app are now accessible from your browser. This includes:
- Unified cross‑platform interface with immersive, theme‑aware visuals.
- Faster client with snappy navigation, stability, and efficiency.
- Agentic AI: create, search, summarize, reveal connections.
- Smarter search and reports with powerful filters and exploration.
- Enhanced plex, outline, and mind map views.
- Improved timeline and event management across your thoughts.
- Synced settings and cross‑platform keyboard shortcuts support.
- Re‑imagined markdown notes editor with folding and export.
- Streamlined attachments with rich previews and in‑app viewing.
- Advanced import/export including markdown, PDF, and HTML.
Our goal with this update is to make the unified experience unmistakable. With only a few exceptions for capabilities that inherently require the desktop application, you can now enjoy a virtually identical experience whether you are accessing your brain from the web or from the local client.
Thanks to TheBrain’s synchronization technology, you continue to have full offline access to your data on your local device, while the web client offers the convenience of instant access—no downloads, no installs, and no manual syncing required. Together, they deliver a powerful, seamless environment for working with your brains anywhere.
