simply to organize personal ideas and Web pages, it's yours for free. This version
was designed for users on an extremely low budget.
If you are currently using
PersonalBrain 3 we recommend upgrading to at least PersonalBrain Core so you don't
miss the use of files. This gives you next generation Brain technology that includes
zoomable icons and expanded views, themes and more.
If you want to take your Brain to the limit, go for PersonalBrain Pro. It
offers the most powerful toolset for organizing your thinking and information.
Multiple attachments, reminders, spellchecking, and filtering will all help you save
time and be more productive. Not to mention, exporting your Brain as HTML means you
can easily share your Brain with the world!
The cost to upgrading from Core to Pro is simply the difference in price. There is no additional charge.

Upgrades within the current major version of the software (e.g. from 4.0 to 4.5) are always free. Upgrades to any new major release (e.g. from 4.X to 5.X) made within 6 months from your intial date of purchase (not including upgrades) are also free.

PersonalBrain 5 takes TheBrain's dynamic visual interface to the next level with advanced rendering capabilties such as
anti-aliasing, transparency, zoomable image icons, shadows, improved layout, scolling,
and powerful expanded views.
PersonalBrain 5 makes
it easier to edit and maintain your Brain with mass selection of Thoughts and the
ability to add multiple attachments per Thought. Users of Outlook can take advantage
of new Outlook integration abilities that include emailing attachments from
your Brain and drag and drop of live Outlook contacts.
PersonalBrain 5's search technology is vastly more powerful and lets you quickly search content
within notes, files, and Web pages. Sharing your Brains with others has never been easier with the
ability to export your Brain as HTML in outline format or as a SiteBrain, complete with animation.
Anyone who purchased PersonalBrain 4 after June 1, 2008 can receive a
free serial number for version 5. Upgrades from version 5 to 5.5 are free and do not require a new serial number - just download the latest version and install.
Anyone who purchased PersonalBrain 5 after February 1, 2010 can receive a free serial number for version 6.
